The “Sever. The City of Clockmakers” Jacket is a relaxed winter design with voluminous sleeves, a high collar and a hood lined with soft, tactile corduroy. The below-the-hip length and generous fit leave room for substantial knitwear while maintaining the soft, feminine lines of the silhouette. The zip fastening is complemented by a snap-button placket, wide knitted cuffs fit closely around the wrists, and spacious pockets make the jacket practical for everyday wear.
The jacket is part of the “The City of Clockmakers” capsule from the “Golden Ring of Russia” collection, inspired by the history of Uglich, its historic architecture and watchmaking traditions. The original print evokes a fantastical winter town where the snow-covered roofs of merchant houses stand alongside clock towers, while enormous gears and clock faces appear among the intricate façades. Rich terracotta recalls historic brickwork, while cool grey-blue shades capture the atmosphere of snow-covered streets. The unusual interplay of architecture and clockwork mechanisms gives the design a subtle steampunk aesthetic.
The outer fabric is Dewspo with a windproof and water-repellent finish, helping to protect against wind, snow and light precipitation. AtmoSnow 200 g/m² insulation is designed for temperatures down to −12°C. Decorative quilting follows the lines of the original artwork, emphasising the architectural details and elements of the clock mechanisms. Inside, the jacket features a jacquard lining made from polyester and viscose, pleasant to the touch and comfortable to wear.
The jacket’s terracotta palette pairs beautifully with chocolate brown, milky white, beige and muted blue. Wide-leg jeans and chunky knitwear create relaxed everyday winter looks, while a long skirt and high boots provide an interesting contrast with the jacket’s rounded silhouette.
The jacket works particularly well with the “Meggi-2” Skirt, a reversible scarf and the “The City of Clockmakers” Quilted Bag. Their shared palette and recurring details from the original artwork make it easy to build a complete winter capsule in which printed pieces complement one another, while solid-colour knitwear and accessories provide plenty of styling possibilities.
